Prof. Arch. Bruno Monardo
Architect and urban planner, PhD, he is Associate Professor of Urban Planning in Rome, at the Faculty of Architecture, Sapienza University of Rome.
He has worked extensively as a freelancer both in drafting urban planning instruments and environmental impact studies and in architectural design. Visiting Professor at leading American (MIT) and French (AIU, Paris) universities.
His main lines of research are: the planning of mobility and collective transport infrastructures; the use of density in urban and metropolitan planning as a privileged “sensor” for the evaluation of the kinematic dimension of the city; the evolution of the principles of participatory and deliberative democracy in urban policies through the study of the phenomenon of structures such as “Urban Center” or “House of the City”.
Since 2017, he is a member of the CDS of the Master's program.
