Prof Arch Nilda Valentin
Architect, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Architectural and Urban Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Sapienza University of Rome. She is a member of the Council of the Department of Architecture and Design (DiAP), the Ph.D. Program in Architecture: Theory and Design, and the Archis_Lab Research Laboratory.
She holds a double Master’s degree in Architecture and in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) and completed a special study program at the Unité Pédagogique d’Architecture No. 7 in Paris.
She is responsible for cultural and scientific cooperation agreements with European, American, and Asian universities. She has participated in numerous architectural competitions, receiving awards and recognitions.
Her theoretical research and design work focus on architectural and urban heritage, industrial archaeology, and contemporary architecture—topics that have been the subject of publications, exhibitions, and international conferences.
